What A Switch!

Recalling the hysteria over Code Pink controlling Berkeley’s City Council and the Mayor of Berkeley joining Code Pink in parades for PEACE, it’s kind of interesting to note that the times they are a changin’.
First, their harassing the Marine recruiting office in Berkeley only had the effect of increasing recruiting efforts because of how people were treated by the members of Code Pink. One young man actually credited Code Pink for his signing up.
Code Pink seems to do fine in front of drooling knuckledraggers who go to concerts where the Soviet anthem plays, or in front of media cameras with a microphone shoved in their faces, but they don’t seem to do all that well with plain old American people who love their country; because they have no new ideas since the communist manifesto. Because of that, the little parties they had planned outside of the military recruitment offices have taken a turn. One time, Americans went there to face Code Pink and Code Pink had put a sign up saying they were off ’saving the planet from global warming’.
The newest fad for the America-haters is presidential candidate John McCain.
Breitbart.tv has the video.
Meanwhile, Melanie Morgan at Move America Forward is pushing a large drive for our serving men and women in theatre in the Middle East. Do what you can to help them send 50,000 care packages to our men and women in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Mel said,
“We are so tired of the negative media generated by Code Pink that Move America Forward is dedicating itself to a historic, cutting-edge concept where we are going to try to bring the largest amount of care packages in American history to the troops.”
“We are putting our energy into some positive, proactive affirmation for the men and women who are serving our country instead of dealing with the people who clearly despise our troops and their mission.”
See the MAF website here. You can send some money to donate for this worthy cause here.
Meanwhile, Eagles Up organizer Doug Lyvere is planning a motorcycle rally for the Marine Recruiting Center in Berkeley, which will come together there on June 21 at about 10:00 a.m. or thereabouts.
Also, mark your calendars for a web-a-thon sponsored by Michelle Malkin and Melanie Morgan on June 26.
Do what you can to counter the insurgency at home!!!
