Resisting the Resistance

I have a friend named Dino who has been calling for the arrest of many in the media for sedition. I’ve had a hard time seeing sedition in much of the hateful journalism coming from the like of the New York Times and their liberal cronies. Well, I’ve found a real case of sedition.
This headline on FoxNews reads “Conspiracy Theorists Go Postal” and my disgust for the Truthers has dropped to a new low. What is the intent of these letters? The man behind them is Mike Dice.
Mike Dice is a conspiracy theorist, regardless the comments at Dice’s website of Ted Gunderson, Senior Special Agent in Charge (ret.) FBI Los Angeles Division. Normally I wouldn’t give this man any space on my column, but I really want you to visit his website and take in the scenery for a while. Yeah Agent Gunderson, Mike Dice is a conspiracy realist all right. Great detective work!
Anyway, this man is planning on sending conspiracy letters to our troops telling them 9/11 was an inside job. Why Mike? What’s the purpose? Is it to hurt the morale? Because no one with a lick of sense believes you’re doing it as a service to the Marines.
No Mr. Dice what you are doing is sedition. Here’s the definition:
“Whoever, when the United States is at war, shall willfully make or convey false reports or false statements with intent to interfere with the operation or success of the military or naval forces of the United States…”
What you are doing Mr. Dice is clearly an attempt to interfere with the success of our great military and that sir makes you a traitor. You should be prosecuted and if found guilty, you should be “punished by a fine of not more than $10,000 or imprisonment for not more than twenty years, or both.” I choose option C.
Maybe we could send you to GITMO and you could hang out with some real insurgents.
