American Citizens Are Creating the Problems

Last week we saw supposedly intelligent well-educated Americans do things that can only be described as idiotic and blatantly detrimental to the welfare of America and her citizens.
The dhimmicrat led Congress blocked legislation that would have begun the process to lower gasoline prices at the pump. Parroting the line made famous by Dick “The Turban” Durbin “We can’t drill our way out of this”, they defeated the amendment GOP Rep. John Peterson of Pennsylvania offered a year ago to permit offshore natural gas drilling. It was defeated 196-233 by do-nothing Dhimmicrats now panicked over high gas prices and forecasts of declining energy supplies from non-OPEC nations. H/T MM Peterson, who is retiring next year, said offshore drilling could provide enough oil to replace Middle East oil imports for 35 years. He said the plan would also yield an 18-year supply of natural gas. DailyPress
Once again, the supposed party of the little people has shown its true colors. They don’t care about regular Americans who have to endure the ever rising cost of going to work every day and feeding our families. They have sacrificed our quality of life and their integrity at the altar of special-interest, whacko environmentalists hell bent on returning us to the candle and campfire and buggy era. Simply beginning the process by lifting the ban on offshore drilling would have an immediate effect on OPEC nations and the price would fall. You have to wonder if the dhimmicrats have a vested interest in keeping the price of oil high.
Make no mistake… when it comes to giving relief to Americans who are suffering because of the high cost of gasoline, our so-called elected leaders could enact real legislative solutions RIGHT NOW! On a happier note, the Republicrats in Congress did manage to defeat a “windfall profits” tax the dhimmicrats tried to foist on the petroleum companies. Thats always the answer for the dhimmicrats any time prices get to high. “MORE TAXES WILL SOLVE EVERYTHING and the band played on.” (Ball of Confusion The Temptations) On Rush’s show last week, I heard an economics professor explain the difference between profits and windfall profits. The dhimmicrats need to consult their dictionaries for the definition, because they are confused. Windfall profits are unexpected gains on investment. Petroleum companies expect to make a profit on the sale of gasoline. They are in the business of making money by providing the consumer with a product, so the windfall profits definition doesn’t really apply to them.
All those members of Congress that want to punish the oil companies for making a profit should check the balance sheet. From 2003 to 2007, ExxonMobil paid taxes (in all forms) in the amount of $64.7 billion. This actually exceeded its U.S. earnings by more than $19 billion! You do the math. Exploration, discovery, and drilling are where the money is. Wisely, this company has diversified into chemicals and a variety of petroleum related products. (Canada Free Press)
Before I get into the other news of idiots doing stupid stuff I want to share a brief passage from “House to House”:

5 members of the SCOTUS have joined the ranks of idiotic Americans doing things that will hurt average Americans in the long run. They have essentially granted more rights to terrorists than our own Warriors have. Uncle Jimbo and Kev over at Blackfive have some thoughts on this act of sedition from (sarc/) educated lawyers. (/sarc) Its worth the time it takes to watch it. Just shows that an education is not a determining factor in intelligence or common sense.
Ronald Kessler has a great article that says in part; …..by their reasoning, illegal aliens should be given access to the federal civilian courts to contest their expulsion from the country. Nazi soldiers taken prisoner during World War II and held on American soil should have been allowed to argue their cases in federal court. Instead of shooting terrorists on the battlefield, American soldiers should read them their rights and ship them off to American jails.
The court acknowledged it was the first time it had ruled that “noncitizens detained by our government in territory over which another country maintains de jure sovereignty have any rights under our Constitution.” It said such a constitutional right can be suspended by Congress only in times of “rebellion or invasion.”
Justice Kennedy noted that we are not currently under “invasion or rebellion.” But that has nothing to do with a war overseas. When the Constitution was written, no one envisioned that a non-citizen who is captured overseas and held outside the U.S. could claim the right of habeas corpus to challenge his detention. Newsmax
Not under invasion or rebellion? If the SCOTUS keeps running down this road, they’ll see a rebellion. As to invasion, I can pinpoint at least 6 locations on American soil that are being invaded by extremist muslim groups protected under the guise of religious freedom. Two of those locations are in Virginia. We are being invaded and it is our own belief in individual liberties and religious freedom that allow it to happen.
Sadly, in granting Constitutional rights to non-citizens, the SCOTUS has failed to take into account the one rule that must apply:
Rights only apply to those willing to grant the same in return.
In order to enjoy the rights we as Americans enjoy, you must be ready and willing to grant those same rights in return. Rights and liberties only work when all parties agree. You can do whatever you want, whenever you want, as long what you do doesn’t restrict or prevent someone else from doing the same. Thats the deal. It’s non-negotiable.
The SCOTUS has, in effect, granted legitmacy to a system that does not allow disparate views, does not allow women access to education, does not allow individuals the right of self-determination or free will, uses religious buildings as shields and ordanance storage, and kills innocent civilians in the name of of a pedophilic false prophet.
In short, they have given our rights to non-citizens who have no respect for them and would kill every member of the SCOTUS, every member of Congress, every non-believer, if given the opportunity.

Supreme Court Justice Kennedy writes what may be the epitaph for an America in mass denial regarding the global threat of Jihad when he states regarding the enemy combatants: “none is a citizen of a nation now at war with the United States.” Over seven years after the 9/11 attacks, how could there be any American citizen that completely uninformed about the world and the transnational Jihadist threat? Justice Kennedy also goes on to whine that the enemy combatants have been held in “the duration of a conflict that, if measured from September 11, 2001, to the present, is already among the longest wars in American history.” (Justice Kennedy Majority Opinion, page 41). His written contradiction is staggering - on the one hand he claims that the enemy combatants are not a “citizen of a nation now at war” but on the other hand that the “conflict” under which they are being held is “among the longest wars in American history.” Of course, Justice Kennedy has no idea who or what America is fighting. What is he doing holding a high office in the U.S. government, over 7 years after 9/11?
